Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a two month old baby allegedly died after being immunised for polio vaccine in Karbi Anglong district of Assam.
The tragic incident was reported from Kakaubasti village, about 13kms from Diphu town.
According to reports, the baby was given the two dose of polio vaccine on October 26.
However, the child fell ill and passed away two days later.
Meanwhile, outraged villagers have demanded an investigation and have blamed the authorities of being responsible for the child’s death.
