Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a new born baby was found lying near the national highway in Nalbari district of Assam on Sunday.
The incident took place in Ghograpar of the district.
As per reports, it is suspected that the infant has been abandoned by someone on the roadside.
Meanwhile, Ghograpar police immediately rushed to the spot and recovered the baby and later sent to Nalbari civil hospital.
However, the Police officials said that they are still looking for the person who left the baby there.
