NFR to Run Guwahati-Jammu Tawi One-Way Special Train

Guwahati: The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to send a one-way special train from Guwahati to Jammu Tawi in an effort to accommodate the additional rush of passengers.

On August 31, there will be only one trip made by the special train.

On August 31, train No. 05612 (Guwahati – Jammu Tawi) will leave the Guwahati railway station, at 8:30 a.m.

On September 2, at 09:45 a.m., the train will travel through Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Moradabad, and Ludhiana Junction.

According to a press statement, the unique train has 16 coaches in total, including one AC three-tier coach, 14 sleeper class coaches, and one seating/luggage coach.
