NFR’s Railway Police Rescues 5 Minor Boys In Separate Operation
Guwahati: Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Northeast Frontier(NF) carried out various drives and checks where a total of five minor boys were rescued from various stations between September 27 and September 30.
The young boys were sent to the appropriate childline authorities for safe custody and further action after the rescue.
At the New Jalpaiguri railway station on September 27, the RPF of New Jalpaiguri carried out a routine inspection on a Dibrugarh-Chandigarh Express.
During the check, a young boy who had run away was rescued.
Later on September 29, during a campaign against human trafficking, unlicensed peddling, begging, etc., the RPF rescued at least two runaway young boys at the Katihar railway station.
The same day, RPF personnel in Guwahati Assam, located at the Guwahati railway station rescued a second runaway young kid. On September 30, the RPF in Silchar Assam, rescued another young kid who had ran away..
