Assam: In a significant breakthrough, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police apprehended Shahanur Alam, a suspected operative of the banned terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The arrest was made during a meticulously coordinated raid in Tukura, located in Assam’s Goalpara district.
The operation unfolded across multiple locations, including Govindpur, Tukura, and Borpahar, as part of an intensified effort to dismantle terror networks in the region.
