
NIA Apprehends PLFI Member in Joint Operation Across Jharkhand and Assam
National Desk, 11th April: In connection with the alleged revival efforts by the People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI), the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has apprehended an individual.
The arrest followed extensive raids across two states, conducted in collaboration with the local police forces.
The operations took place on Wednesday in two locations each in Jharkhand and Assam.
As a result of the crackdown, Binod Munda, also known as Sukkhwa, was apprehended from the Khunti district of Jharkhand.
Munda is a known armed member of the PLFI, a breakaway Naxal faction, and is implicated in four PLFI cases in Jharkhand.
