NIA conduct raids in Jammu and Kashmir
Guwahati: In a massive crackdown on terror related activists in Jammu and Kashmir, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) with Jammu and Kashmir police along with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) conducted multiple raids in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
The raid has been conducted in the Pattan town of Baramulla district.
According to reports, a case was registered against banned organization Jamaat E Islami.
In the search operation, the agency raided the residential house of former district president of Baramulla Jamate Islamia Abdul Gani Wani and Tanveer in connection with a case.
It may be mentioned that NIA officials confirmed the raids and further investigation into the matter is underway.
