Nine ULB cadres arrested: GP Singh
Guwahati: Nine suspected cadres of the newly formed militant organization United Liberation of Bodoland (ULB) have been arrested from Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) by Assam Police on Thursday.
A large number of documents including demand notes, a list of cadres, and grenades have been also recovered in search operation from the ULB cadres.
Sharing the news on Twitter Special DGP of Assam, GP Singh wrote, “Nine cadres of newly formed militant organization ULB have been apprehended by @assampolice from BTR districts. A large number of documents including demand notes, a list of cadres, and grenades have been recovered in searches. Operations against ULB shall continue. @mygovassam”.
It may be mentioned that ULB is a newly formed militant organisation in BTR and it was formed for the creation of a separate state of Bodoland.
