Noida Twin Towers Turn to Dust & Debris in 9 Seconds

Guwahati: The enormous twin skyscrapers in Noida were reduced to dust and wreckage in less than nine seconds on Sunday at 2:30 pm.

A nine-year legal fight was finally resolved when 3,700 kg of explosives were used to level the building.

The national capital Qutub Minar is shorter than the buildings Apex (32 stories) and Ceyane (29 floors), which are both 100 metres tall.

The buildings came tumbling down shortly after the explosion that was triggered by a button, creating a huge cloud of dust that contaminated the air all around.

The Supreme Court of India approved the use of explosives to destroy the twin towers (SC). According to the top court, the demolition date of August 28 may be upheld, with a “bandwidth of seven days” between August 29 and September 4 to account for any slight delays brought on by bad weather or technical issues.

Following the demolition, there was a severe traffic backup on adjacent highways since so many people had arrived to see the twin towers’ historic demolition.

In addition to the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), 500 police and traffic officers have been stationed in the vicinity of the twin towers of Supertech, which have been closed off to the public ahead of their anticipated destruction on Sunday.
