NPF Supporters Allegedly Try to Capture Booth In Poll-Bound Nagaland
Guwahati: As voting is underway in 59 Assembly constituencies, reports of violence surfaced from the Bhandari Assembly constituency of Nagaland’s Wokha district on February 27.
According to reports, few individuals have been reported injured in the brawl that followed poll violence which is being carried out by suspected NPF members.
Reportedly, the party secretary A Kikon’s followers allegedly attempted to capture a booth although Kikkon denied the allegations.
It is important to note that Achumbemo Kikkon, a former student leader from Nagaland is contesting against Mmhonlumo Kikkon, a national spokesman for the BJP in the Bhandari constituency.
