In a swift and well planned operation executed by the Indian army, one of the main cadre actively involved in extortion activities of NSCN-IM in the TIZIT & CHARAIDEO area, SS Pvt ALEM WANGSU , was apprehended from the outskirts of Namtola area.
The operation was based on confirmed input regarding the move of the individual from Tizit to Sonari, thus resulted falling into the trap of security forces, which was a result of relentless pursuit over the past two months.
The apprehended insurgent was handed over to Charaideo Police for further investigation.
