Nyishi Elite Society’s Keyi Panyor Unit Embraces Wildlife Conservation, Surrenders Airguns in Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh: In a powerful move towards environmental preservation, the Nyishi Elite Society’s (NES) Keyi Panyor district unit in Arunachal Pradesh surrendered airguns and weapons as part of their commitment to wildlife conservation.

The initiative, named the Airgun Surrender Abhiyan, was organized in collaboration with the district administration at Tajgi, Param Putu circle, with the vision of a greener, more sustainable future for the state.

The Airgun Surrender Abhiyan is focused on reducing hunting practices and protecting wildlife, aligning with the state’s growing eco-friendly initiatives. By surrendering their airguns, the NES Keyi Panyor unit demonstrated a significant step toward safeguarding the region’s biodiversity.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his support on social media platform X, commending the society’s efforts. He stated, “Congratulations to Nyishi Elite Society’s Keyi Panyor district unit and all those involved in #AirgunSurrenderAbhiyan for taking an eco-friendly step towards preserving our wildlife & environment. Together, we will create a brighter, greener future for Arunachal Pradesh.”
