Oil Marketing Companies Slash Prices of 19 kg LPG Cylinders Effective July 1

National Desk, 1st July: State-owned oil marketing companies have implemented a notable reduction in the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders, effective July 1. Residents in Delhi will now pay Rs 1,646 per cylinder, down from the previous rate of Rs 1,676. Similarly, in Mumbai, the revised price stands at Rs 1,598, while customers in Kolkata will see a price of Rs 1,756 per cylinder.

This decision reflects adjustments made in response to fluctuations in the average price of benchmark international fuel and changes in foreign exchange rates. Despite this reduction, prices for 14.2 kg LPG cylinders will remain unchanged: Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 818.50 in Chennai, and Rs 802.50 in Mumbai.

Regularly scheduled revisions of cooking gas prices by state-owned giants like Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) occur on the first day of each month to align with global market dynamics.
