Guwahati: An one armed criminal was arrested by the Nagaon police on Saturday.
The accused was identified as Songgousuan Ngaihte and he is a resident of Dimapur District of Nagaland.
The police officials also recovered an 0.32 pistol from the accused.
It may be mentioned that the scooty he used to travel from Dimapur to Nagaon has also been seized.
Informing the news, Nagaon police took Twitter and wrote, “One armed criminal from Dimapur caught with pistol in Nagaon. DySP (HQ), Shri Tridip Kumbang led the operation and arrested Songgousuan Ngaihte.
