Guwahati: In yet another case of police encounter in Assam, one person has been injured in police firing.
The incident took place at Checha Satra near Sonari in Charaideo district.
The injured has been identified as Santosh Jaiswal.
As per sources, Jaiswal was injured in the firing of a police team from Barbam Police Outpost.
Following the incident, the injured was admitted to the hospital.
However, a motorcycle has also been recovered by the police officials from the spot.
