Guwahati: One youth was killed in a road accident in the Darrang district of Assam.
The incident took place in the Mangaldoi town of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Atul Chandra Nath who is a resident of Tiajhar locality of the town.
Nath was riding his motorcycle when a truck collided head-on with his vehicle resulting in his death on spot.
As per the reports of MyNewsNE, the truck was heading towards Tezpur when the incident occurred.
It needs to be mentioned that Nath was working in the SRD Group which is a food processing company in Mangaldoi.
