One more COVID death reported from Rongli PHC of Sikkim. An MDR patient who was discharged from Singtam DH 11 days back. Although the Rapid Antigen test done at admission at Singtam hospital was negative. Patient was kept at Rongli PHC because of road block to Zuluk but in the morning the patient had expired. However the Rapid Antigen test done post death tested had came positive.
This is the 6th Covid death in the State although most suffered from comorbidities and other complications. The total COVID cases in the state is 1,910 , 1,371 patients have been discharged.
