Opposition MPs of I.N.D.I.A Alliance to Visit Manipur Amid No-Confidence Motion

National Desk, July 27th: A delegation of opposition members from the I.N.D.I.A On July 29 and 30, an alliance will visit Manipur. This visit comes at a critical time because the Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla, has accepted the opposition parties’ notice of a no-confidence move against the government.
The decision to pursue a no-confidence motion was taken by the opposition leaders to seek answers from the government and the Prime Minister on various pressing issues, including the situation in Manipur.

“A team of INDIA alliance MPs will visit Manipur on July 29, 30,” stated one of the opposition leaders.

Opposition parties have been assertively pursuing their demand since the start of Parliament’s monsoon session. The government has stated its willingness to hold a debate on the subject, but the opposition insists on holding the debate under an adjournment motion.

Both Houses of Parliament experienced disruptions on Thursday as discussions and deliberations on the no-confidence motion and related topics intensified.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Manipur and announced several measures aimed at restoring peace in the region. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had also visited the state in June, highlighting the significance of the region in national discourse.

The forthcoming visit by the opposition MPs to Manipur is expected to bring further attention to the concerns and issues raised by the region, as the political climate continues to be dynamic and engaging in the Parliament session.
