Guwahati: On Friday night in Guwahati, a terrible fire broke out in the Fatasil Ambari neighbourhood.
The homes of at least 150 families have been completely destroyed by the fire, according to sources.
More than 15 cylinders are said to have exploded in a slum area behind the Kamakhya Ram Borooah College in Fatasil, sparking the raging blaze.
After the fire started, all major thoroughfares were shut down.
Firefighters have arrived at the scene and are still working to put out the large fire.
However, the incident hasn’t yet been linked to any deaths or injuries.
