This is in accordance with the SSR of 2023’s Special Summary Revision (Electoral Rolls), which were released on January 5, 2023. The SSR-2023 began on November 9, 2022, with the State Level Launch of the Draft Publication of Electoral Rolls throughout the State.

According to Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) FR Kharkongor, the ECI places a high priority on maintaining the accuracy of the electoral rolls. As a result, 13848 voters had their names deleted from the rolls due to events like death or address changes. In this revision, the data for 40700 electors was also adjusted.

Moreover, he claimed that the ideals of guaranteeing purity, health, inclusivity, honesty, and transparency served as the framework for the entire SSR process. To enhance transparency in the overall SSR process, regular discussions with representatives from each political party were held at the CEO and DC levels. Since inclusiveness was given special consideration, there are currently 7478 enrolled People with Disabilities (PwDs).

With 4,29,062 more electors than in 2017, the overall number of electors rose by 18%.

The current enrollment of 18 to 19-year-olds is 81,443, the EP Ratio is 64.53%, and the gender ratio is 1022.
