Guwahati, 23rd December: Assam Police, through X, announced the suspension of at least 7,088 driving licenses in the state under the Motor Vehicles (MV) Act. The licenses were suspended between January 1 and November 30, 2023.
In a message, Assam Police stated, “License to thrill revoked! 7088 driving licenses have been suspended under the MV Act. Remember folks, our roads aren’t a Fast & Furious set. For the upcoming picnic and party season, let’s keep it safe. #DontDrinkAndDrive”
