Pakistani Intruder Gunned Down in Jammu and Kashmir by BSF Personnel

National Desk, 31st July: Jammu and Kashmir, India: In a recent incident along the international border in the Arnia sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s RS Pura, the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel opened fire on a Pakistani intruder, resulting in his death. The incident occurred on Monday in the early hours. The invader was slain after rejecting several border guard warnings and attempting to run over the border fence at the Jabowal frontier, according to sources.

As per official sources, the intruder was neutralized at approximately 1:50 am during the encounter. This is the first occurrence in 2023 in which a Pakistani infiltrator was slain at the border. Earlier this year, in January, another Pakistani intruder was shot dead by the BSF in the Gurdaspur sector along the India-Pakistan international border in Punjab. The BSF team had observed the suspected movement of an armed Pakistani intruder approaching the BSF fence from the Pakistan side and subsequently took action to neutralize the threat.
