The committee calls for comprehensive measures in a press briefing on December 4.
Observations and Demands:
- Comprehensive Investigation: Immediate, exhaustive investigation into all APPSC officials from 2014 to 2022, with calls for arrests upon discovering discrepancies.
- Enhanced Investigation Resources: Urgent establishment of an Enforcement Directorate office in Itanagar, increased CBI manpower, and a DIG liaison officer for coordination.
- Fast Track Court: Prompt formation of a Fast Track Court for prosecuting those involved in the scam.
- State Administrative Tribunal: Immediate establishment of a State Administrative Tribunal and Grievances Redressal Committee.
- Assets Seizure and Probe Endorsement: Court-monitored probe, asset seizure, and ED office establishment.
- Status of Departmental Enquiries: Demands transparency regarding departmental inquiries against suspended or arrested officials.
- Termination of Officials: Urgent termination based on inquiry outcomes.
- Investigation of Higher Officials: Recommends a court-monitored probe for higher officials above Deputy Secretary rank from 2014-2022.
- Nullification of Exams with Malpractices: Demands nullification of exams involved in malpractices.
