Guwahati: One person was severely injured while paragliding in Purvottar Swaviman Utsav in Sarusajai of Guwahati on Monday.
The incident occurred in the Purvottar Swaviman Utsav where a man was paragliding.
However, the parachute failed and the man collided with a wall causing the man to fall.
The whole incident was recorded on a CCTV camera.
Following the incident, the man was immediately shifted to the hospital.
The identity of the injured person is yet to be ascertained.
The Purvottar Swaviman Utsav is being held to honour the Northeastern region’s contributions to the nation’s growth. The Administrative Staff College’s premises hosted the first leg of the event on Sunday.
