Paresh Rawal appointed as new chief of National School of Drama

Noted actor Paresh Rawal has been appointed as the new chief of National School of Drama by President Ram Nath Kovind. The Union tourism and Culture minister Prahlad Singh Patel has confirmed the news and congratulated Paresh Rawal on getting the auspicious position.

Paresh Rawal has been into the film industry for more than three decades and has won numerous awards, including the prestigious National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1994. In 2014, he was conferred with the Padma Shri, which is the fourth highest civilian award in India for his immense contribution in the film & entertainment industry.
