Passenger Found Dead on Air India Flight Upon Lucknow Arrival
National: A somber scene unfolded at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport this Friday as a passenger was discovered deceased onboard Air India flight AI2845, which had arrived from Delhi.
The flight, carrying passengers from the nation’s capital, touched down at 8:10 AM, marking the beginning of an investigation into the unexpected death of Asifullah Ansari.
Upon landing, the flight crew attempted to rouse Mr. Ansari, but their efforts were met with silence. Medical professionals present on the flight were immediately called upon to examine the unresponsive passenger. Their assessment confirmed the worst, declaring Mr. Ansari deceased.
The exact circumstances leading to his death remain shrouded in mystery, pending the results of a postmortem examination. Local law enforcement has initiated a comprehensive investigation to ascertain the cause of death.
This incident comes amidst heightened scrutiny of Air India’s passenger services, following a separate incident earlier in the month. An 82-year-old woman suffered a brain stroke and was hospitalized after a fall at Delhi airport. Her family alleged that Air India failed to provide a pre-booked wheelchair, forcing her to navigate the airport without assistance. The woman was en route from Delhi to Bengaluru. Air India refuted the family’s claims, stating that allegations of a prolonged wait for a wheelchair were unfounded.
