Pijush Hazarika, BJP Workers Tune In to PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’; Applaud Operation Sindoor and National Unity

Guwahati: Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika joined BJP workers, well-wishers, and local residents at Booth No. 34 in Buraburi Gaon Panchayat under the Jagiroad Legislative Assembly Constituency to listen to the latest episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat on Sunday.

In a social media post following the event, Minister Hazarika praised the Prime Minister’s visionary address, calling it “deeply inspiring and full of national pride.” He emphasized Modi’s focus on the recent success of Operation Sindoor, India’s decisive cross-border anti-terror operation, and the PM’s appeal to preserve India’s unique biodiversity.

During the radio address, Prime Minister Modi lauded the bravery and precision of the Indian armed forces, calling Operation Sindoor not merely a military action but a “symbol of the nation’s unwavering resolve and unity.” He credited the mission with galvanising public sentiment and strengthening India’s collective fight against terrorism.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the nationwide Tiranga Yatras, where citizens marched with the national flag to honor the armed forces. He celebrated the contributions of youth volunteers, Civil Defence members, and children who created poems and paintings inspired by the operation.

A special mention was made of the indigenous weapons and technology used during the operation. PM Modi praised Indian scientists, engineers, and technicians for driving the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) in defence manufacturing.

Minister Hazarika said the Prime Minister’s words had left a profound impact on listeners in Assam and across the country. He encouraged citizens to continue supporting national initiatives and to celebrate India’s achievements with a sense of pride, courage, and unity.
