Planned Power Shutdown in Manipur for Maintenance Works on May 13

Northeast Desk, 13th May: Residents of several areas in Manipur are advised to brace for a temporary power outage as the Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) gears up for essential maintenance activities. Scheduled for May 13, the planned power shutdown will impact regions falling under the 11KV Heirangoithong Feeder.

As outlined in a statement released by the Manager of Singjamei sub-division, IED-III, MSPDCL, the power interruption is slated to commence at 10:30 am and persist until 4 pm on Monday. The primary objectives behind this scheduled downtime are the installation of new distribution transformers and the undertaking of crucial maintenance tasks on high-tension lines.

Among the areas expected to experience the temporary power disruption are Krishna Premi, Keibung Oinam Liekai, Liwa Lambi, Singjamei Mathak Chongtham Leikai, Chirom Leikai, and Sapam Leikai. Residents are advised to make necessary arrangements to mitigate any inconveniences arising from the planned outage.
