PM Modi Assures Return of Peace to Manipur

National Desk, 15th August: During his Independence Day address from the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi provided an update on the situation in Manipur, stating that peace is gradually being restored to the region following recent episodes of violence.

The prime minister acknowledged the challenges faced by the people of Manipur, especially in light of the recent unrest that resulted in the loss of lives and suffering for mothers and daughters.
