PM Modi Distributes Over 70,000 Appointment Letters; Rozgar Mela Marks Stepping Stone Towards 10 Lakh Govt Jobs

National Desk, 22nd July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi orchestrated a historic moment on Saturday, distributing over 70,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits via an inspiring video conferencing event.

Addressing the appointees on this momentous occasion, PM Modi expressed his pride in witnessing the nation’s progress during the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and emphasized the significance of their roles in India’s journey towards development.

In his speech, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the next 25 years for India’s growth, foreseeing the country’s ascent to become one of the world’s top three economies. As a result, he foresaw a surge in employment opportunities and an increase in per capita income for citizens.

In addition to celebrating the achievements, PM Modi took the opportunity to shed light on the transformation of India’s banking sector. He criticized the previous government, citing massive destruction in the banking industry. Today, India boasts one of the strongest banking systems globally, a stark contrast to the situation nine years ago when the sector was marred by corruption and mismanagement.

The Rozgar Mela took place across 44 locations in the country, facilitating recruitments in Central Government Departments, State Governments, and Union Territories, supporting the government’s ambitious initiative.

The new recruits will serve in various Ministries/Departments, including Revenue, Financial Services, Posts, School Education, Higher Education, Defence, Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Undertakings, Water Resources, Personnel & Training, and Home Affairs, among others.

The Rozgar Mela signifies the government’s unwavering commitment to prioritize employment generation, with the goal of providing 10 lakh government jobs. The initiative aims to empower the youth, driving their participation in national development and bolstering meaningful opportunities for their future.

The first phase of the Rozgar Mela was inaugurated by PM Modi on October 22, 2022, initiating a transformative campaign that marks a significant leap towards the realization of the government’s ambitious employment goals.
