PM Modi Honours Heroic Sacrifice of Jawans In Pulwama Attack

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi honoured the Pulwama heroes who lost their lives in a terrible terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir in 2019 .

According to PM Modi, the courage of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) members who died in the 2019 terrorist assault in Pulwama motivates us to create a powerful and advanced India.

PM Modi tweeted, “Remembering our valorous heroes who we lost on this day in Pulwama. We will never forget their supreme sacrifice. Their courage motivates us to build a strong and developed India.”

“I pay homage to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the ghastly terror attack in Pulwama on this day in the year 2019,” Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on Twitter. “Their deeds will never be forgotten by the nation. In the fight against terrorism, their bravery and indomitable courage will always be an inspiration.”

The terrorist attack in the south Kashmir district which Pakistan supported claimed the lives of 40 CRPF jawans. In retaliation, the Indian Air Force carried out an airstrike against terrorist facilities in Balakot, Pakistan, on February 26, 2019.

A fleet of deep-penetration fighter jets equipped with the Mirage 2000 technology along with other Indian Air Force resources carried out the dawn attack on the biggest Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror base in Pakistan. Because of its capacity to precisely “pin-point” targets a multi-role Mirage 2000 aircraft was used for the attack.

Following the 1971 Indo-Pak conflict, the mission first took place within Pakistan and utilised a variety of additional IAF resources and platforms.

The terrorist camp at Balakot was run by Maulana Yosuf Azhar, also known as Ustad Ghouri and the brother-in-law of Masood Azhar, the leader of the JeM. It was secluded from any civilians on a hilltop covered with dense woodland.
