PM Modi inuagrates India’s biggest Drone Mahotsav in New Delhi
Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Bharat Drone Mahotsav in Pragati Maidan of New Delhi on Friday.
He met with kisan drone pilots and saw open-air drone demos at the drone display centre during the event.
While addressing at the ceremony, PM Modi said “Drones are a smart tool for us, and they will soon become a part of everyone’s life. Drones will aid in the improvement of quality and content in a variety of sectors across the country, including agriculture, defence, tourism, and healthcare.”

He added, “This event is not just about drones but also about India’s enthusiasm for new technology and innovation.”
The Bharat Drone Mahotsav is a two-day event that will take place on May 27 and 28. The Mahotsav will be attended by around 1,600 delegates, including government officials, foreign diplomats, military forces, central armed police forces, PSUs, private firms, and drone startups, among others.
