PM Modi Launches ‘Deepotsav’ Celebrations In Ayodhya

Guwahati: On the eve of Diwali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the “Deepotsav” celebrations in Ayodhya on Sunday.

PM Modi performed “aarti” at the New Ghat on the Saryu River near Ayodhya. Earthen lights were lit along the banks of the Saryu River in Ayodhya as part of the Deepotsav celebrations.

The Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya was transformed into a shimmering wonderland on the eve of Deepawali by countless diyas.

The idea of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” is inspired by the ideals and rule of Lord Ram, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Ayodhya for the Deepotsav celebrations.

The Rajyabhishek of the symbolic Bhagwan Shree Ram was performed by the prime minister in Ayodhya.

Speaking to the crowd, PM Modi stated, “This good fortune is achieved solely by the grace of Lord Ram. Shri Ramlala’s ‘Darshan’ and then ‘Rajyabhishek’ of King Ram. The principles and values of Lord Rama get ingrained in us when Shri Ram is sanctified. Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is inspired by Lord Ram, who “brought everyone along and did not leave anyone behind.”

The Prime Minister claimed that the nation developed the “Kartavya Path” in order to honour Lord Shri Ram’s leadership and forge India’s identity on the international stage based on his “Kartavya Bal” teachings.

“The name of Lord Rama is Maryada Purushottam. Maryada encourages us to respect others and ourselves. Maryada is the one who realises that the duty itself. Ram does not abandon anyone. Ram doesn’t avert his gaze out of obligation. Ram, then, represents the mindset of India, which holds that our obligations make our rights obvious. The timing of this Deepawali coincides with our 75th anniversary of independence. Lord Ram’s “Sankalp Shakti” would lead India to unprecedented heights, “he added.

The Prime Minister came in Ayodhya today to participate in the Deepotsav festivities. He was welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel.

Speaking at the occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “Six years ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi provided direction and inspiration for the beginning of the Deepotsav of Ayodhya. This Uttar Pradeshi celebration spread throughout the nation. Today, its success is reaching unprecedented heights.”

PM Modi visited the Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra site on Sunday after arriving in Ayodhya. He prayed to Lord Ramlala Virajman in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.

Ayodhya will be covered in a profusion of domestic and foreign flowers during the Deepotsav, which is breaking all previous records.

Rangolis made of flowers are adorned at every crossroads in Ayodhya to make the Deepotsav 2022 even more stunning. Earthen bulbs have been artistically arranged along the banks of the river Saryu in a design that will be lit as soon as dusk falls.

Ayodhya’s security has been stepped up in anticipation of the Prime Minister’s arrival.

The Yogi Adityanath administration will promote “Dhobia” and “Faruwahi” dancers in addition to the state’s spiritual and religious significance through the organisation of “Deepotsav.”

Sixth-generation “Deepotsav” celebrations got underway on Sunday morning with the presentation of sixteen magnificent tableaux based on scenes from the Ramayana in the sacred city.

Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh flagged off the themed tableaux, which were taken out from Udaya Intersection to Ram Katha Park in Ayodhya.
