The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is also set to be the chief guest at the centenary celebrations of the Aligarh Muslim University via video conferencing on 22 December. Along with Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, PM Modi will also attend an online function.
Narendra Modi will be the second Prime Minister after Lal Bahadur Shastri to attend an event at the Aligarh Muslim University. Last time Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri delivered a convocation speech at the AMU.
