The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with the chief ministers of all states on Monday to take stock of the Covid-19 situation and vaccination rollout virtually. After the DGCI gave approval to two vaccines, Covaxin and Covishield to operate vaccinations in India this will be the first interaction of PM Modi with chief ministers.
Nearly 3 crore healthcare and frontline workers will be given priority in Covid-19 vaccination drive. The government likely to use an integrated app, called the Covid Vaccine Intelligence Network (CoWIN) for administering the nationwide inoculation drive.
