Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited to Ahmedabad to meet his mother Heeraben Modi who is being treated at the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center.
Heeraben was admitted to the hospital after her health began to deteriorate earlier today.
The hospital in an official statement said that her health condition is stable.
The state read, “Heeraben Modi, mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is admitted at UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre in Ahmedabad and her health condition is stable.”
Earlier this month, PM Modi met her at her home in Gandhinagar after campaigning for the state’s Assembly elections.
On the other hand, Prahlad Modi, the PM’s younger brother was injured in a car accident on Tuesday.
He was travelling in a Mercedes Benz when it collided with a divider close to Mysuru in Karnataka while carrying his son, daughter-in-law, and grandson.
They were brought to JSS Hospital for treatment after suffering minor injuries and they are currently safe now.
