PM Narendra Modi Greet Nation on Raksha Bandhan

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to the nation’s citizens on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on Thursday.

The Prime Minister in a tweet said, “Greetings to everyone on the special occasion of Raksha Bandhan.”

Intriguingly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Pakistani sister Qamar Mohsin Shaikh delivered the holy thread—Rakhi—ahead of the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan and wished him luck in the 2024 general election, ANI reported.

Speaking to ANI, Qamar stated that she had done all necessary arrangements and anticipated this meeting with PM Modi.

“I’m hoping PM Modi would give me the Delhi call this time. I completed all the necessary planning. This Rakhi was handmade by me using Reshmi ribbon with embroidery ” she added

She prayed for him long life and wrote him a letter. She also sent him good luck for the 2024 elections.

“I wished for a long and healthy life in a letter that I wrote. Maintain the fantastic work you are doing “she said.

She stated that in the 2024 election, “He will certainly return to being the prime minister. He deserves it because he possesses such skills, and I want him to always be India’s prime minister” she added.

Last year, PM Modi received a Rakhi and a Raksha Bandhan card from his sister, Shaikh.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended greetings on the occasion.

“Warm wishes to all the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan,” Shah tweeted.
