Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi likely to visit Northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura on October 27 and 28.
However, the final tour schedule of the Prime Minister is yet to be finalised.
Tripura CM Manik Saha said, “If the prime minister goes to Arunachal Pradesh on October 27, he will visit Tripura on October 28 or else he will be here on October 28”.
PM Narendra Modi will address a public gathering in Tripura and lay the cornerstone for a few projects.
Notably, Tripura’s assembly elections are anticipated to take place in the first half of 2019.
On the other side, the Prime Minister is set to officially inaugurate the Donyi Polo airport while he is in Arunachal Pradesh.
