PM Narendra Modi Visits Bandipur Tiger Reserve In Karnataka

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on a wildlife safari at Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka on Sunday.

PM Modi arrived in Mysuru on April 8 in order to take part in the 50th anniversary celebration of Project Tiger on Sunday. He took off from a helipad close to Melukamanahalli for Bandipur at 7:20 in the morning.

Additionally, he will go back to Mysuru for the Project Tiger programme and release the “Tiger Estimate Report of 2022” at the KSOU convocation hall.

Modi will also travel to the Tamil Nadu Mudumalai Tiger Reserve to meet the Bomman-Bellie couple from the Oscar-winning documentary “Elephant Whisperers.”

PM Modi will interact with mahouts and kavadis of the elephant camp as well as frontline field employees and Self-help organisations engaged in conservation operations during his visit to the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.
