PM Narendra Modi’s 100th Episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to be Aired Today

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will be aired today. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in the event from Mumbai.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and state BJP president Bhavesh Kalita will be hearing the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme at Vajpayee Bhawan in Guwahati.

PM Narendra Modi will address the 100th episode of his radio address Mann Ki Baat at 11 am today. According to reports, the event will also be broadcast live at the UN headquarters in New York.

It is to be noted that the first part of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was aired on October 3, 2014 when the BJP came to power after 10 years of united progressive alliance rule and Narendra Modi took over as prime minister. Since that year, the Prime Minister’s radio programme has been broadcast every month.

Across the country, especially the BJP-ruled states are making elaborate preparations to celebrate the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’. The party will broadcast the prime minister’s radio address at their offices and booths on Sunday.

The country’s tourism ministry has announced “100 days of action” on the occasion of the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat. These 100 activities also include a design challenge for entrepreneurs to develop single use plastic product options.

The BJP tweeted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat is going to be global event which will complete a century. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will connect directly with people from all over the world. Therefore, the BJP party appealed to all to witness this historic telecast.

It is learnt that the High Commission of India in London will also host a special screening of the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

A study supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation states that the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat radio address has turned into an inspirational platform that has encouraged sustainable progress on the core theme of India’s efforts toward achieving sustainable development goals.

Pm Modi’s Mann Ki Baat highlighted the steps taken by the government and citizens in terms of priorities and instead encouraged listeners to establish or participate in change-building measures in their own communities, which aims to have a lasting and sustainable impact on the lives of the people and the country.

The radio programme emphasizes the role of start-ups and small businesses in achieving a self-reliant India. It encourages people of all ages to take steps to promote social and environmental causes that are of utmost importance to them.

Home Minister Amit Shah, who attended an event in Mann Ki Baat on Wednesday, said it was a unique test that has strengthened the foundation of democracy in India. The event marks the release of a postage stamp and coin in memory of 100 episodes of Mann Ki Baat.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to be held at Vial Parle in Mumbai today. Union Minister Piyush Goyal will attend the event to be held in Kandivali.
