PM Narendra Modi’s Letter in Assamese to School Children

Guwahati, 29 May: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will send a letter to 40 lakh students to inspire school students of the country. The letter will be received by 40 lakh students who have applied through mygov app to participate in Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme in 2023. Prime Minister will send this letter addressing the parents in the mother tongue of the students. It is to be noted that 2.43 lakh students of classes 9 to 12 in Assam will receive PM Modi’s letter. The highest number of letters in the country will go to Gujarat. Assam is in second place.

National Book Trust, India has already started translating the Prime Minister’s letter into various modern Indian languages. In the letter, the Prime Minister wrote– “The next 25 years are amritkal for the country; Where we must move forward with a resolve to transform India into a sustainable country; There is no dearth of resources and potential in our country irrespective of the field… “

Out of the 4 lakh who applied in 2023, only 2400 got a chance to participate in the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme. The selection was conducted after a test. On the other hand, Modi’s event which started in 2018 has so far spent Rs 28 crore.
