PM to visit Tripura to inaugurate new terminal MBB
Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tripura on January 4 to open a number of projects, including the Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) airport’s newly completed terminal.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb stated on Sunday that the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) had confirmed the Prime Minister’s visit to the state.
Meanwhile, Kumar Alok, the Chief Secretary of Tripura, confirmed the PM’s visit on Twitter, saying, “Hon’ble PM will inaugurate new airport terminal building on 4th January.” Today I had the opportunity to inform the Hon’ble Prime Minister on the schemes/projects that would be unveiled on January 4th”.
Deb attended a meeting with top authorities to discuss the Prime Minister’s visit. According to sources, PM Modi would be joined at the airport terminal’s inauguration by Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
