Guwahati: A man was discovered in a pool of blood under the Ganeshguri flyover on Friday night in Guwahati.
The man was allegedly accosted by criminals using sharp instruments with the goal to kill them. Fortunately, he was still alive when nearby residents noticed us.
He was shifted to a hospital for treatment as soon as police arrived on the scene.
He is reportedly stable and receiving treatment at the moment.
The injured man was identified as Kakul Konwar, a constable of the 3rd Assam Police Task Force (APTF) Battalion.
Meanwhile, Dispur police launched an investigation into the incident. Additionally, CCTV footage is being examined.
Although the incident appears to have been an attempted murder, authorities stated they will conduct a comprehensive investigation to determine the real cause.
