Guwahati, 20th August: On Sunday morning, Gohpur police managed to intercept a Santo vehicle carrying fake gold.
The seized fake gold weighing 1.55 kg is kept inside the vehicle.
Police have arrested two persons involved in fake gold racket both hailing from the state of Punjab. Further investigations revealed their intention to smuggle fraudulent gold from Lakhimpur to Punjab.
