Guwahati: A well-known musician and YouTube Sanam Puri from the Indian band “Sanam,” recently got engaged to Zuchobeni Tungoe of Nagaland at a private ceremony.
The band’s lead vocalist Sanam has also contributed his voice to a number of Bollywood songs and has fallen for a girl from the region.

Zuchobeni Tungoe a well-known singer who hails from Kohima has won numerous awards in the music industry and made a name for herself in the region.
The lovely Indian state of Nagaland popularly referred to as the Land of Festivals is where Zuchobeni Tungoe was born. She wants to represent the state so that she may highlight its beauty and honour Nagaland’s distinctive culture since she thinks the world has yet to fully appreciate its magnificence.
She is a student and a singer who has achieved success in the world of singing and made a name for herself in the state. She is Miss Dimapur 2019, the 2011 Kids for Fame winner, a Top 25 candidate on season three of The Stage and a rising star on YouTube with over a million views on her singing clips.
One of the top schools in Nagaland and an all-girls Catholic boarding school, Little Flower Higher Secondary School is where she completed her secondary education. Subsequently, she studied engineering in Bangalore for a time before giving up since she recognised her true love was elsewhere.
She subsequently continued her studies in Mumbai where she is now pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in the subject. She was regularly made fun of because of her appearance. She overcame depression but now she still holds her head up and hopes that her story may encourage others.
