Pradyot Kishore Debbarma: Goal of ‘Greater Tipraland’ shall be fulfilled if Motha comes to power
Guwahati: TIPRA Motha leader Pradyot Kishore Debbarma on Monday stated that if TIPRA Motha were to win, it would inevitably bring about progress and achieve the goal of Greater Tipraland.
TIPRA Motha plans to run in 42 different constituencies in the current Tripura assembly elections.
Prior to the Tripura Assembly elections, the Tipraha Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA Motha) issued a final list of candidates on January 30.
As per the list, Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barma has fielded Nitai Sarkar from Bamutia, Swapna Debbarama from Mandaibazar, Biswajit Kalai from Takarjala, Ashish Das from Kamalasagar, MD Shah Alam Miah from Bishalgarh, Manav Debbarma from Golaghati, Abhijit Sarkar from Teliamura, Kshir Mohan Das from Kakraban-Salgarh, Abhhijit Malakar from Rajnagar, Pathan Lal Jamatia from Ampinagar, Nandita Debbarma Reang from Raima Valley and Ranjan Sinha from Chandipur.
On January 28, TIPRA Motha released a list of 20 candidates for the upcoming Assembly election scheduled to take place on February 16.
According to the list, Deputy CEM of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) Animesh Debbarma will be running for the Asharambari seat, while Brishaketu Debbarma, who was the first to leave the BJP-IPFT alliance and join TIPRA Motha, would be running from the Simna constituency.
However, Shyamal Sarkar and Bilas Malakar will run for the SC seats of 46-Surma and 51-Fatikroy, respectively.
