Preparation For the 74th Republic Day Celebration In Assam

Guwahati: Assam is prepared to commemorate the 74th anniversary of Republic Day in a big way and with excitement. Assam’s numerous districts are engaged in a variety of activities and celebrations to honour and commemorate Republic Day.

Assam will observe a bandh on January 26, 2023, from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the proscribed terrorist group ULFA-I who claim that Assam was never a part of colonial India.

On the other hand, preparations for the Republic Day event that will be held in Sammanya Kshetra in Golaghat are still going strong. To honour the fortunate day noted in the Indian Constitution, military, paramilitary and numerous other police platoons will take part in the republic programme.

Additionally, a parade will be held at the government higher secondary school in North Lakhimpur and Assam Police, the Home Guard, police battalions and NCC Scouts and Guides will be present. The 74th Republic Day will be observed, thus the parade preparations are being made with great zeal.
