Prime Accused’s Accomplices Produced Before Court In Guwahati Murder Case

Guwahati: The two co-conspirators in the Shraddha Walkar-like murder, Arup Deka and Dhanjit Deka were produced before the court on Monday by the Guwahati Police.

Arup Deka and Dhanjit Deka were Bondona Kalita’s accomplices in the horrific murder case that has shocked the people of Guwahati.

According to reports, the police want to take them into custody for ten days. Meanwhile, Bondona Kalita, the prime accused in murder case in Guwahati had been produced before the court on Sunday.

On the other hand, Bondona Kalita reportedly admitted during her questioning that the two accomplices had lied at her direction and committed the crime.

She also admitted to police officers that she had killed the victims herself, chopped up the bodies, and then disposed of them.

Initial reports from today stated that the murder occurred on Sunday in the Noonmati locality of Guwahati. The murder is thought to have been the result of an extra-marital relationship that the accused woman had with another man.

According to reports, the accused chopped up the two victims’ bodies and put the pieces inside a refrigerator after committing the crime. The bodies were dumped in Meghalaya three days after the murder.

The prime accused in the matter, Bondona Kalita committed the murder along with her lover and another friend. Her husband Amarjyoti Dey and her mother-in-law Shankari Dey were brutally murdered by a group of them.

The accomplices of Bondona Kalita, who helped her in committing the murder, have been identified as Arup Deka and Dhanjit Deka. They helped in killing the two and later in disposing off the bodies.

The victims’ body parts that have been disposed of by the accused after the murder in Meghalaya have now been found by the police.

According to reports, Meghalaya Police confirmed that the body parts in connection with the murder case were located near Wei Sawdong Falls in the state’s Cherrapunji.

A team of Assam Police officers reached the scene to conduct an investigation into the murder case, and after starting a recovery operation, a bag containing the body parts was found. The operation was assisted by Meghalaya’s Sohra Police, reports mentioned.
