Prime Minister Narendra Modi Criticizes Opposition’s ‘INDIA’ Alliance, Calls Them ‘Directionless’ in BJP Parliamentary Party Meeting
National Desk, 25th July: During the BJP’s parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Opposition’s ‘INDIA’ alliance, which comprises several parties vying for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad revealed that the Prime Minister pointed out historical connections to entities like the Indian National Congress and the East India Company, emphasizing that names could be deceiving.
Labeling the Opposition as “directionless,” PM Modi expressed his belief that their current behavior indicates a willingness to remain in opposition for the foreseeable future. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi conveyed the PM’s message to reporters, urging the party to remain vigilant in the face of an erratic Opposition.
The Prime Minister set forth a bold vision for India’s development, asserting the goal of transforming the nation into a developed country by 2047, with unwavering determination. Reflecting on the National Democratic Alliance’s 25-year journey, PM Modi called for a collective effort to propel the alliance forward.
Highlighting India’s economic progress, PM Modi expressed optimism about the country’s prospects, stating that from being the 10th largest economy worldwide in 2014, India had risen to the 5th position during the second term. He further envisaged India becoming the third-largest economy during the upcoming third term.
With the political landscape taking shape ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the Prime Minister’s remarks and vision for India’s future are likely to ignite discussions and debates across the nation.
