Guwahati: Protesters who had gathered outside the Assam State Zoo and Botanical Garden has been detained by the city police on Thursday in Guwahati.
Reports claim that the protest was staged in front of the zoo by the Zoo Protection Forum.
The demonstrators urged the zoo staff to return the animals that were transferred from Guwahati to the Mukesh Ambani-owned zoo.
